Pokemon GO: Bout Damn Time For A Community Event

Hello and welcome back you beautiful bastards. Sorry if it looks like we're missing content, but I've somehow cocked it up, and I'm currently working to resolve the issue. As for today's post, you guys know that when Pokemon GO dropped, I went hard to the paint for the first month. After the hype died and the trespass notices were handed out, I was just tired. And not because of the walking. After crossing level 20, it just became a grind fest. The Baicunn Clan hasn't become completely neglectful of our progress. A few weeks back we took a late night venture through downtown. My son still likes to get out and play a bit, and I oblige him. In reality though, I have just been riding it out and biding my time for trading, dueling, and/ or an event to fall in place. So it looks like I'm getting at least one of the things I wanted this week.

On Monday Niantic released the following video announcement:

Luckily our friends over on the SilphRoad subreddit, have compiled some interesting info (I've screen cap'd their post, but I recommend that you check them out):

I personally believe that this first event is over due. I'd really appreciate a monthly event to help keep my attention. I'm hoping that toward the end of this event we'll finally get a chance at a legendary Pokemon. Mew... Mewtwo? I think it's bout damn time!

While on the topic of unsolicited expectations. I'd certainly appreciate an update that'd populate more pokemon in more remote locations, but that's not really the point of this post is it? Also as an aside, I'm still just a little bit bitter that the isn't Pokemon IRL. But here's to hoping for an easter egg in today's update.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed! Please like and share if you appreciate the content. Before I go, I'd like to encourage you to get involved with #EXTRALIFE by either donating myself or my team for The Children's Miracle Network. This charity event is a 24 hour gaming marathon to raise money to help sick kids out. The event starts on Saturday; 11/5 at midnight and runs until midnight on 11/6. I'll have a stream up during most if not all of the time. I've teamed up with my friends and fellow nerds over at RUM Gaming for this event. They will also have several streams up. If you don't want to give money, please signup and raise money. Thanks again for stopping by, and I will see you later.
